I’m Oscar, a Swedish marketing student at Spring Hill College, AL, graduating in May 2026. I decided to study in the US to play college basketball and to step out of my comfort zone. That decision shaped how I think about everything: marketing included.
Sports have always been central to my life as a competitor, a fan, and increasingly as a lens for understanding brands and audiences. I spend most of my time, weightlifting, watching sports, starting a new project and, probably more time than I should defending the cultural legacy of ABBA and IKEA.
Marketing clicked for me because it sits at the intersection of things I genuinely care about: storytelling, performance, and culture. My goal is to build campaigns and brand strategies that feel as intentional as a well-designed play.
